Happy weekend! Time to break out the Holiday Movie List and start working your way through them with your favorite little or big people. Movies transport us. I get lost in not only the stories, but the costumes and set designs. I have so many favorite holiday movies for these reasons, and I've complied them here for you to enjoy. You may want to make the Salted Caramel Bark for the best movie munchie. A Stylish Holiday Movie List

1. Miracle on 34th Street (the original 1947 version)

Miracle on 34th Street. The first Christmas movie I truly fell in love with. I believed. And my mother loved this one, too.

2. The Holiday

The Holiday. I love everything, everything about Cameron Diaz's LA home, and her wardrobe is my dream. I love Kate Winslet's cozy, whacky English cottage, too.

3. It's A Wonderful Life

It's A Wonderful Life. I basically want to be Mary. In every way.

4. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Because I have memories of my father laughing and laughing along with this hilarious movie.

5. Elf

Elf. First we'll make snow angels for two hours, then we'll go ice skating, then we'll eat a whole roll of Tollhouse cookie dough as fast as we can, and then we'll snuggle.

6. Love, Actually

Love, Actually. The opening shot is worth watching over and over and over. And I love British humor. And Emma Thompson is divine.

7. Little Women

Little Women. This movie makes me want to live in the 1800's with Susan Sarandon as my mother and grow up with sisters like Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy.

8.The Family Stone

The Family Stone. Diane Keaton is always good for a perfect wardrobe. LOVE hers in this movie. And SJP has an incredible wardrobe of Prada and Ralph Lauren. As she matures into a real human being over the course of this movie, she earns the right to wear Ralph.

9. While You Were Sleeping

While You Were Sleeping. Sandy is just soooo great in this movie. You'll want to adopt her and make her your daughter or best friend. And you'll forgive her for all her sad fibs.
