Bag Essentials: Here's What's In My Clutch

Handbags seem to get smaller but we seem to have more stuff. Not fair.

So we need to know how to pack it in, and I'm using a medium size clutch to illustrate how you can do this. Because if you can pack it in a small bag, you may realize you don't need that huge tote, except for when you travel or head to the pool.

My larger handbag stores my clutch in it during the day, packed with all my essentials so I can grab and go when I want to be freed from the larger bag. Here are some handbags featured in our Spring & Summer Handbag Picks:

What's In My Clutch

1. iPhone (because duh)

2. Chanel Glossimer (my all-time fave for years); I also love Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Sparkling because it looks good bare or over a color

3. Eye Drops (payback for not changing out my contacts as often as I should)

4. Tampon (because, well, it's nice to be the friend who always has one, and I'm *always prepared* even though I'm not a Boy Scout and was bitter about it as a child when they turned me down for not being a boy. As if. But I digress.)

5. House Key (that's singular key, not plural, because keys weigh a lot and I don't need my car key because I'm likely using Uber)

6. Breath Mints

7. Hair Tie

8. Pen

9. Credit Cards, License and Cash Money (and my health insurance card is in there, too)

10. Eyeglasses (optional)
