Beyond Pink: Wearing Sophisticated Spring Colors
Tina, here.
Pale pinks, robin's egg blue, seafoam greens. The colors of spring. But what if this makes you gag? What if these bright, spring colors fall flat on you? You may just be weary of easter eggs. Your closet needs some Spring inspiration with a different palette. Welcome color-me-beautiful Autumns (but Winters and Springs can wear these, too) to your Spring palette.
I guess this is me trying to look sophisticated ha. But seriously, you can still wear your rich earth tones and neutrals this Spring. It's all about how you mix it up with a few key pieces. You'll need to switch out your darker basics (dark rinse jeans, black pants) for lighter ones (white or ivory or camel). And then pair your more earthy tone tops like copper, bronze, pumpkin, aubergine, etc. with these bases. Navy blue is always a good answer when you want to look springy because it looks good on everyone. And it's basically a neutral. Whereas you wore these colors with blacks and browns over the Winter, now you can pair them with ivory and white. Like my coppery silk blouse I wear with black pants in cold weather, and now that's it's Spring, I'm wearing them with my ivory linen pants.

See how easy that is! Just because it's Spring doesn't mean you have to wear pink. Keep wearing the colors you love. Thanks for reading!
