It's no secret that I love traditional feminine style, and it's no coincidence that we're seeing a LOT of it this Fall. When the winds of change are in the air, and times are uncertain, we circle back to our roots, and to what feels right and good and true. Ladylike dressing, for one. (I feel like I say this about every 4 years.) On a related note, yesterday I was so tickled when I saw my neighbor outside with her precious little girl wearing a smocked dress and little Buster Brown shoes with white bobby socks. And pretty, blue silk ribbons in her hair! When was the last time you saw a little girl or boy dressed like the little girl or boy they actually are, and not like a miniature teenager wearing some kind of tacky getup? What a breath of fresh air! Sooo, on to traditional Fall dressing, how about pretty blouses under cable knit sweaters? And traditional corduroy skirts and pants? Love them all for Fall. Don't you?
