Now Released: Summer Events & What To Wear

Tina, here.

The calendar is starting to fill up with outdoor concerts, bike parades, and poolside cocktail parties. And those spontaneous dinners on a rooftop or galavanting around town doing summer sorts of things. Don't you want to be in something you can sweat in and still look cute?

You need a go-to summer outfit. That you can accessorize many ways. It's easy to pack. And you can wear it when it's stinkin' hot. It is made of breathable cotton or linen. It's not form-fitting. And hopefully it's lined because the lining absorbs your sweat so it's less likely to show through on the outside. (I think about these things for you. If it doesn't come with a lining, wear a slip.) I've found a couple dresses and dress-alternatives to show you that if I were you, I'd go ahead and get because these don't last long in the stores.

A cotton dress, wedges and a hat are oh-so-chic for an outdoor festival.

The Accessories:

This will be the summer you start wearing hats.

Straw totes are very "in" right now. I love it when vintage classics come back!

It might be time to refresh your wedges. You get height and comfort with them!

Wear flats and your hair up for a more casual event.

The flats:

I love wearing wood and horn jewelry in the summertime.
