Stylish Holiday Gift Wrapping : 25 Days of Delights, December 7, 2015
Tina, here.
One of my holiday jobs growing up was gift wrapping. Actually, I highjacked it from my mother. I turned my big sister's bedroom into a modern day Gift Wrapping Room. Room, not a mere "station." My mother would save the prettiest paper and ribbon so I could re-purpose it (read, re-use because yep, she was real frugal, which is where I get it). So I would get craftier and craftier each year with the scraps I had. I would ration out the best paper and ribbon for my friends, make gift tags, and I started incorporating special gifts in the wrapping. Here, dolls, is my favorite stylish holiday gift wrapping idea, using a beautiful piece of vintage rhinestone jewelry.

Make your gifts sparkle! Start with white paper, then add a silver or pale gold silk ribbon. And the best part? Look for old rhinestone costume jewelry you can re-purpose as gift toppers. Image.
