Summer Lovin' Summer Neutrals

Tina, here.

If you're looking for a way to cool down on a hot Summer's day, wear neutrals. They will have that effect on you, to cool you off and those around you. It's true. Something about neutrals has a calming effect on your psyche. But if you're worried about being bored with a neutral outfit, add texture. (This also applies to decorating a room with neutrals, as long as you add lots of layers and textures your eye will keep moving.) I actually travel in neutrals because every item you pack will mix and match with every other item, so you don't have to pack as much.
