Wear This To Get A Non-Surgical Nefertiti Neck
Tina, here.
There are right and wrong turtlenecks. Seems a little picky, I know, but, repeat after me, good dressing is a game of millimeters. But this is actually important. Straight to the point, mock turtlenecks are very wrong. You see, the glory of a turtleneck is that it gives you a Nefertiti neck, a loooong neck that highlights a chiseled jawline, and suggests one if you lost yours. Just like a polo or collared shirt does.
So when you wear a mock neck (below left), it cuts your neck in half and can make it look like you have a double chin. A full turtleneck (below right) gives you that long Nefertiti neck and a chiseled jawline. Now, I realize that turtlenecks can be stifling, and cause one to break out in a full on sweat, tempting you to rip it off wherever you happen to be, propriety aside. I have many clients who can only wear ones that have have a loose neck, which works as long as it's a high neck like this one. Cotton and cotton-blend turtlenecks are also a great alternative.

There are two ways to wear a tall turtleneck (i.e. not a mock). If it is long enough, you can roll it down in half (like mine in the opening image), so that it still frames your jawline. If it is not too tall, you can scrunch it (below).
