Tina, here.

Have the winter blues? PHSS? (Post-Holiday Stress Syndrome.) And all you want to wear are elastic waist yoga pants? That's not the way to cheer yourself up, my dear friends. Here are 8 ways to brighten up your winter wardrobe and feel cheerful again.

1. Wear Winter White

Wearing winter white makes you feel like a snow bunny. And who doesn't like that? ha but really, winter white is so elegant and chic, just what you need to combat the urge to wear sweats.

2. Embellish a Blazer

Fur works well this time of year. You can find vintage fur collars at second-hand stores or on your mother's old coats!

3. Wear Ultra Violet, the 2018 Color Of The Year

4. Wear Your Fancy Coat With Jeans

5. Wear Tights And A Skirt

Everyone seems to be wearing boots. Your heels and flats are lonely. Don some tights with your favorite skirt or dress, and add tights to keep you warm. The rule is to match the color of your tights to either your shoes or your skirt for an uninterrupted line.

6. Tie A Scarf Around Your Neck

This new-again trend is not going anywhere. And we all need a little Paris in our lives.

7. Wear Bright Red or Pink Lipstick

Pink is cheerful! And such a promise of Spring! There's a pink for every skin tone. You'll find some great pinks here.

8. Update Your Jeans

Cuffed ankle jeans are still big. But your rinse, or wash, needs to be updated. No hazing or whiskering. I'm not big on rips. And frayed jeans are still good, but cuffed is really hot.

What's your favorite way to beat the winter doldrums? I should have mentioned that I loooove snow so I'm ok with winter sticking around awhile as long as there's a chance of snow. Check out all my Latest Loves, too, where you can shop all my favorites.

Best,

Tina
