As quiet luxury has become more elusive, we will always celebrate classic style and good taste here, and of course a high-low aesthetic! I've been filled again with a passion for helping you dress and live with style. And I've been wanting to connect with you on a more personal level. Actually I'm sensing there are a lot of us looking for better ways to connect with kindred spirits that are organic, personal and authentic, delightful even. Like it was in the early days of blogging. Over the years, the internet has gifted us with so much beauty and inspiration, but social media has always felt like a tameless, wild frontier to me. And you may have noticed, social media is not really my thing, nor does it feel personal. In fact, I'm beginning to see a trend back towards blogging...

So, this is where you'll still find me. Dishing out style secrets, hunting down your missing pieces, and showing you how to wear your clothes the right way is why I'm here for you. You've heard me say before, my job is to help you not look ridiculous. To borrow from Eric Liddell, I believe God made me for a purpose, but he also equipped me to teach women how to dress, and gave me a knack for styling. I can truly say it's as much fun working with a $100 budget as an endless budget! It was my sweet mother who taught me the high-low principle of dressing, and, as I hope you will find, I've applied it equally as successfully to the decorating of my homes. Over the years readers have asked me about the furnishings and decorative objects in the background of my blog photos, and now that I'm decorating my lady's hunting lodge (what I'm forcing my cabin to identify as - more on this coming), I'm also sharing my favorite home & garden ideas and discoveries in a brand new section of the site, the Collection.
