PINK Please! I Need Pink For Spring!

Tina, here.

I see my buttercups starting to come up, my dogwood is budding and my peony shoots are starting to emerge. So, I am officially craving SPRING. Along about this time every Winter I shift gears and stop praying for snow and start counting these signs of Spring in my yard. I heard the groundhog did not see his shadow which forecasts an early Spring, and so here we go. It's time for Spring style (and I'm sure I'll be throwing blankets over my plants during next week's freeze).

Did you know the 2024 color of the year is peach fuzz? This is great news because peach and coral, and all shades of pink are universally flattering to a woman's complexion. And, did you further know that pink, peach, coral, lavender, mint and robin's egg blue all look delicious with white jeans in February and March when you are craving Spring? (If you are doubting you can wear white jeans now, it's time to step out of the last century. If it makes you feel better, you can wear off-white jeans or pants.)

Spring's First Look

The colors of Spring are traditionally cool, sorbet tones like these below. These outfits are transitional, from late Winter into early Spring when who knows what the weather holds. But one thing for sure is that we want Spring colors! Once the weather is consistently warmer, I'll show you how to take these transitional outfits and turn them into full-on Spring looks. But for now, let's welcome the coming change of season with lighter tones!
