Easy Summer Tops

If we're supposed to have 2 - 3 times more tops than bottoms in our closets, where in the world are all the good tops? It's an issue. Always is, every new season. Why is it so hard to find a good top? They either have cut-outs in very unflattering and unnecessary places, or they are tooooo ruffly, or too floraly, too cropped, too long, and on and on.

Well, get your coffee or tea or G&T and see what I've found for you in summer tops, at all price points. First, my outfit deets, because the top is sooo pretty with that shirring - then keep scrolling down for more summer tops. Now, campy shirts similar to this one are a dime a dozen, but they are not all created equal. They need to be feminine or else you'll look like a camp counselor. It's the shirring, the cotton-voile fabric and the shape of the sleeve that make this one a winner.

My clutch is from Halsbrook, same brand (Serpui Marie), and there are many more to choose from on their site! In fact, there's A LOT on Halsbrook's site I'm loving right now...but back to tops.

My wedges are from Target. They are comfy but I went down half a size. That's typical for an open toe with some height, because your feet seem to plunge forward.

Don't forget, if you're wearing something full on top, like this blousy blouse (similar), go for something more trim on the bottom half, like these slim jeans. And vice-versa.
